Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, a spacious resort nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and on the shore of Lake Tahoe, announces William Stout as director of food and beverage. In his new role, Stout will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort’s food and beverage department, ensuring that guests enjoy exceptional dining experiences across the property’s diverse on-site restaurants.

“We are thrilled to welcome William Stout as director of food and beverage,” said Andrew De Lapp, resort manager at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino. “William’s extensive experience working in the hospitality industry paired with his passion for ensuring unforgettable dining experiences makes him the ideal candidate for this position. We look forward to seeing his vision for the resort’s food & beverage opportunities come to life.”

Stout returns to Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe after beginning his career at the property more than 20 years ago. During his previous time at the resort, he held several roles ranging from assistant outlets manager to assistant banquet manager. Since his previous tenure at the property, he has gone on to hold leadership positions at several hotels around the country including Hyatt Regency San Francisco, W New Orleans, Hyatt Carmel Highlands, and others. He was a part of the pre- and post-opening team at JW Marriott Nashville which received Marriott’s prestigious “Opening Hotel of the Year” award, as well as the company’s “Hotel of the Year, Luxury Division,” the year after it officially opened to guests.

Originally from Hagerstown, Indiana, Stout attended Indiana University where he graduated with a degree in Computer Science in 2001. Following his graduation, he wanted to move to the mountains to ski, and moved to the Lake Tahoe area. In Lake Tahoe, he began working at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe where he found his passion for hospitality and began a career.

“I am thrilled to be back in Lake Tahoe and to return to such an incredible property as Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe,” said William Stout. “My goal is to further enhance the guest experience while providing support to my team to help them meet their goals and move forward with their career path. I am also excited to once again experience all that Tahoe has to offer, from mountain biking to skiing, as well as meeting all of the great people in the community.”
