Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Hosts Community Event for Global Wellness Day on June 8

Incline Village (May 20, 2024) – Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, a spacious resort nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and on the shore of Lake Tahoe, announces a community Elemental Immersion event in recognition of Global Wellness Day. The event will raise money for Tahoe Family Solutions, a non-profit organization that offers an array of community-based services including education, mental health services, and youth development.
“We are thrilled to welcome our community for an Elemental Immersion event for Global Day of Wellness,” said Julie Orblych, Director of Spa and Wellness at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. “The event will feature a morning filled with unique wellness activities designed to showcase our beautiful North Lake Tahoe location. It will also give attendees the tools and practices they can use everyday on their journey to wellbeing.”
The community event will begin at 10 a.m. with a restorative breathwork session led by Brooke Haley, a registered yoga teacher (RYT) and reiki practitioner. Focused on empowering individuals toward improved health and wellness, Haley uses yoga practices and breathwork techniques to create a powerful mind, body and soul experience.
Following the breathwork session, attendees will join Haley for an intention-based cold plunge in the naturally-chilled waters of Lake Tahoe.
The morning will continue with a 45-minute sound bath led by Gyongyver Ridenour, an International Academy of Sound Healing practitioner. Guests will be surrounded by the sounds of wind, flutes, gongs, and Tibetan Bowls that produce vibrational acoustics designed to help cleanse and clear out overactivity of the mind, and encourage a sense of presence and balance.
The event will conclude with light health-minded snacks and mocktails created by the resort’s culinary team.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 8 starting at 10 a.m. It is open to ages 13 years and older. Entrance is complimentary with a suggested $10 donation to Tahoe Family Solutions.
