INCLINE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL:

KOLO 8 came to Incline Elementary School last week to film a story about the successful IES Makerspace.

This exciting program is getting recognition throughout the district!  It’s a great model for providing STEM education at the elementary school level and preparing ALL students for a solid foundation.

INCLINE MIDDLE SCHOOL:

The “Trash to Treasure” was a great success as students, Rotarians, AAUW members, and local community members collected almost 500 lbs of trash.  The middle school jazz band kept everyone entertained, and the Junior Boosters hosted a free BBQ.

INCLINE HIGH SCHOOL:
Over 200 students, parents, faculty, and community members attended the IHS Dia de los Muertos Celebration on November 1st, which Boosters and Mi Cultura sponsored. The event was a celebration of the Day of the Dead that showcased a community-made altar as well as traditional decorations, chocolate calaveritas, and pan de muerto. The community enjoyed the over 450 homemade tamales and hot chocolate and the good laughs and camaraderie brought on by the Loteria (bingo) games that earned them fantastic prizes.

Don’t forget the Governor Designated Stem School Open House is Wednesday, 11/08!
