Beautification Campaign
Summary of Incline Village Main Street Beautification
Incline Village Main Street is a revitalization program affiliated with Nevada Main Street and Main Street America. Strategic priorities are economic vitality, civic engagement and community initiatives. It facilitates and supports transformational strategies such as Beautification that revitalize the commercial core in Incline Village.
The Beautification Campaign was launched in 2024 with a number of initiatives to address the most tangible needs. It promoted community clean-up efforts such as the Incline Green Clean and defensible space in 2024. Inclined to Bloom added “pots and plants” in 2025. Improvements to the Gateway Roundabout for esthetics and safety are targeted for launch in Spring 2026. A Public Art committee was established in 2025 as well. Main Street hopes to inspire businesses to undertake projects that improve their property and add to revitalization. Community-driven projects such as Crosby’s Gathering Place in Christmas Tree Village are eligible for grants from Incline Village Main Street. Future projects for consideration include the lamp-post project, adding lighting and signage, as well as encouraging walkability.
These efforts all have a component of placemaking to give a welcoming feel to our community. IVCBA works with Washoe County, along with other governing agencies to accomplish its goals.
