April 2, 2025 | Julie Malkin-Manning

That April Fool’s Day snowstorm was no joke! While Mother Nature still has a few surprises up her sleeve in the Sierra, we’re officially embracing the arrival of Spring Break. As we transition from ski season to shoulder season, the energy in Incline Village and Crystal Bay shifts to celebrating spring and eagerly anticipating those long summer days on the lake.

One of the best ways to make the most of this in-between season? IVCB Restaurant Week! This beloved event is the perfect excuse to gather with family and friends over delicious local flavors. From Monday, April 21, through Sunday, April 27, you’re invited to indulge in fantastic culinary experiences, discover new favorites, and support our vibrant dining scene.

What’s New for 2025?

While we bid farewell to the iconic Lone Eagle Grille, some of its most beloved dishes live on at Cutthroat’s Saloon. From 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM daily during Restaurant Week, enjoy favorites like French Onion Soup, Ahi Poke, Sierra Nevada Cubano Sandwich, and Durham Ranch Bison Burger in a relaxed yet refined setting.
  • Pop-Up Dinner at The Grille at The Chateau – Saturday, April 26
The Grille at The Chateau may be closed during shoulder season, but for one night only, Chef Evan and his team are bringing it back for a special pop-up dinner. The exclusive menu features fresh salads (including the fan-favorite Sunset Salad), indulgent starters like Fritto Misto and Pan-Seared Scallops, and mouthwatering mains such as Halibut, Elk, and Mary’s Chicken—plus desserts that are not to be missed! Call 775-832-1178 to make reservations.

The Local Lens – Incline Village Crystal Bay Restaurant Week

April 3, 2024 | Julie Malkin-Manning

Guest Author: Julie Malkin-Manning, IVCBA Community Events Manager

The countdown has begun and I couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming inaugural Incline Village Crystal Bay Restaurant Week – April 15 – 21.

You know that person who is always thinking about their next meal, even while eating their current meal? The one who reads the menu days before the reservation? That friend that always has a recommendation for where and what to eat/drink? Yeah, that’s me…

It all started with a simple idea — to celebrate the diverse culinary landscape of our community in a way that’s never been done before. Living in this vibrant community, I’ve been continuously inspired by the flavors and culinary talents that grace our small village. From cozy cafes to upscale dining destinations boasting world-class chefs, our food and beverage scene is nothing short of extraordinary. And as IVCBA’s Community Events Manager, I saw the opportunity to create IVCB Restaurant Week.

And that’s precisely why IVCB Restaurant Week was born—a week-long celebration dedicated to showcasing our local eateries, inviting our community to embark on a culinary adventure. It’s about more than just indulging in delicious food (though that’s certainly a delightful perk); it’s about coming together as a community and supporting the local businesses that define us as Incline Village and Crystal Bay.

But we’re not just celebrating the culinary delights that await us—we’re also celebrating the spirit of unity and connection that comes with breaking bread and clinking glasses together. IVCB Restaurant Week isn’t just an event—it’s a celebration of the flavors and venues that make our community special, and I couldn’t be prouder to have played a part in its creation.

So, mark your calendars, spread the word, and get ready to embark on a culinary journey like no other. IVCB Restaurant Week is coming, and it’s going to be an experience you won’t want to miss.
